Our combined goal is to fill 750 brown bags with groceries for families in need. You can take bags home this Sunday (November 16th), and they have a list of what you need to fill it with on the bag. Feel free to take some extras and encourage family, friends and neighbours to participate as well!

Each bag costs approximately $50 to fill, if you would like to donate money towards this, e-transfer hello@citycollective.com, and add “Christmas Outreach” to the note!

Bags need to be dropped off by December 3rd. Drop off your bags on November 23rd or 30th at our Sunday service, or email jordan@citycollective.com to coordinate your drop off.

Don’t have a chance to pick up a bag?

You can still shop for the listed items and drop them off for us to bag!

• 2 kg bag of White Rice

• Bag of Lentils

• Bag of Rolled Oats

• 2 cans of Diced Tomatoes

• Bottle of Soya Sauce

• Bag of Curry Powder

• Bag of Couscous

• Carton of coconut milk

• 2 cans of Kidney Beans

• Bag of Brown Sugar

• Box of Fruit Loops

• Bag of Sesame Seeds

• 12 Pack Candy Canes (non-mint)

December 7th | Douglas Park

We are throwing a free Christmas event for our community! This will also be when our hamper bags will be given out.

From 5:30-8:00 pm we will have 2 different bands playing Christmas songs, a hot chocolate trailer, and other Christmas activities galore!

There are three time frames we need volunteers for:

Set-up Volunteer: 12:30 - 4:30 pm

Event Support Volunteer: 4:30-8 pm

Clean Up Volunteer: 7:30-8:30 pm

There will be a mandatory volunteer training at the Southgate office on Thursday December 4th from 5:30 - 7 pm.
